Installing Objects

Always follow the instructions provided by the creator of the object. These instructions are usually either posted on the Web Site or are in a text file (.txt) included with the download. If no instructions were provided then follow the guidelines below.

• Be sure to unzip the files prior to placing them in the appropriate folders.
• Place .iff files in the Maxis/The Sims/Downloads folder.
• Place .wll files in the Maxis/The Sims/Game Data/Walls folder
• Place .flr files in the Maxis/The Sims/Game Data/Floors folder
